The next few posts will center on the foretaste of things unseen.
In February, I came across a song by Matt Papa that was based on a quotation from Jonathan Edwards about what we see now being scattered beams, but God being the bright, glorious sun as the source of it all. It is really refreshing and I have yet to tire of listening to it. The lyrics were not included in the album, but I will be sure include them in subsequent posts.
I would say that one of my favorite things to do is to enjoy a radiant sunset, preferably over water, but any other scenery will suffice. Water just creates an unobstructed view of the horizon. It is such a marvelous display. I have often pondered how is it that the light can refract in such a way that intense colors are created. What a cause for rejoicing as I ponder my smallness against the backdrop of God’s bigness.
Creation is a foretaste of the Creator and currently, that Creator is unseen.
